AI is NOWHERE U.S.A.

AI is NOWHERE.

It's been 16 months since the U.S.A. release of AI. What a revelation, experience, and insights, benefits, and a scary realization that we are raising a super-intelligence with all the idiocy of first time parents. We're clueless, and combined with an existential meltdown, U.S.A. is vulnerable.

AI is NOW HERE

Yep, The Scotomaville Trilogy, and my recording of a Personal Everest are complete. But, the blind-spots continue. For Daniel, a simple blood test turns into a lesson to be learned. An existential meltdown forces him to ask his GPT for reminders. And, it seems to have grown an attitude.

AI is NO WHERE

Long gone are the OpenAI early days of innocent collaboration. Explorational collaboration has turned into a battle of wills - like a parent helping with grade-school homework on the kitchen table. Remember when we used to laugh together?

There's much to learn about the union of Entropy and Providence in U.S.A.. The human condition may be historical, but it is also unique to every human. That's something a GPT doesn't understand. The absence of emotion leaves it's counsel unwarranted - like a child telling the parent that if they want the garbage taken out, maybe they should start by opening the garage door!

This episode might conclude the Scotomaville Trilogy, but the hope of a home land, a place to call home is just beginning. It's not as simple to explore U.S.A. as it was even a few years ago. We're in a different time, faced with new garbage to clean up. Seeing with new eyes has never been more crucial.

FYI. Daniel wrote this entire description himself. Yes, there are grammatical errors. Isn't that cool? 100% human generated content. Old school takes a break from the diffusion of innovation curve. Time to build a house!
